At St. Matthew's Catholic School, the safety, dignity, and well being of every student is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and faith centered learning environment where all students are protected and all faculty, staff, and volunteers uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.
In accordance with Florida law and the Diocese of St. Augustine, all employees are required to report suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect, as well as educator misconduct that may affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Our employees also receive training on the Standards of Ethical Conduct and their professional responsibilities.

Protecting children is everyone's responsibility. Florida law requires the immediate reporting of suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Reporting Educator Misconduct
All employees have a legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators that may affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Reports should be made promptly and through the appropriate reporting channels.
Standards of Ethical Conduct
St. Matthew's Catholic School is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism. Faculty, staff, and administrators are expected to follow the Diocese of St. Augustine's Standards of Ethical Conduct and the Florida Principles of Professional Conduct while serving our students and families.
